Starting Lineups: Justin 'Jus Fly' Darlington's Egregious Dunk At WBF 2012

The man did a cartwheel,  (flawlessly, I might add ... go try to do one when you get some free time. I almost threw my back out - mid-cartwheel he picked up a ball off the ground, finished the cartwheel and sprang up with the ball, put it between his legs, and dunked the ball with authority.

The man is Justin "Jus Fly" Darlington. The dunk is one of the greatest dunks I've ever seen. The occasion was just another Sunday at the 2012 World Basketball Festival.

Nike used the World Basketball Festival in Washington, D.C., to kick off the Nike+ Basketball Dunk Showcase, a contest that will run from now to the end of August and will be open to participants all across the world. Darlington won the regional championship with judges including USA Basketball players LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Diana Taurasi. Darlington, a native of Ontario, Canada, won the contest with this insane dunk with a vertical jump of 43 inches.

Now, it's possible that some of you saw this man do this same dunk in L.A., and with all due respect, seeing this dunk in person made me realize that the video I've posted above will not do it justice. Included below the links are more photos of the dunk in question, extra dunk contest photos and more. Enjoy the pertinent reading material and have a happy Monday.
