On Tuesday night, Robert Griffin III stepped into his seats courtside to watch his new city’s favorite (and worst) basketball team do battle with the world’s best basketball team. The Washington Wizards weren’t given much of a chance to beat the Miami Heat, but it seemed like since a special someone was in the building, the Wiz were inspired. Four quarters later, Washington handed Miami a shocking loss, the hometown fans went nuts, and everyone came to pay respect to RG3 da Gawd during the post-game.
I guess that’s just how it is for the quarterback of the Nation’s Capital’s football team.
Earlier in the week, Robert Griffin III previewed the new adidas crazyquick football cleat that will become available in Spring 2013. From adidas public relations contact Michael Ehrlich:
Hitting stores in Spring 2013, the adidas crazyquick is a revolution in football cleat traction technology and features a QUICKFRAME plate which includes:
QuickStuds: Improve traction during cuts and side-to-side movements
SprintStuds: Increase toe-off traction and allow for foot rotation
BladeStuds: Helps player stop on a dime so they can get out of their cut faster
Maybe if I wear these cleats during flag football season then hopefully we’ll win a game or two. Maybe I need to grow some RGIII braids in the process. Who knows. Check out the video of RGIII receiving his cleats plus writing a little message on the shoe, “Unbelievably Believable.” For more adidas crazyquick info, check out www.Facebook.com/
