The Big Dance: Joel Embiid Dances On The New York Knicks

On Saturday, the 2015 NBA playoffs officially begin with a quadruple-header. The day tips off with Washington at Toronto, followed by the Pelicans vs. Warriors, Bucks and Bulls, and Mavs vs. Rockets.

That's great for them, as well as all the other playoff teams.

You know who won't be in the playoffs? The New York Knicks and Philadelphia 76ers, both of whom lost more than 60 games, and both of which lost more games than anyone other than the Minnesota Timberwolves. Ultimately, the Sixers finished one game better than the Knicks, which really doesn't matter a whole lot in the grand scheme of things.

Both teams were terrible this season, and both teams are now looking to the NBA Draft.

However, on the final full day of winter this year, in a game that turned out to be the difference between the Knicks and Sixers flip-flopping their end-of-year standings, Philadelphia topped the Knicks 97-81.

The score isn't what was important there, though. The real important piece was watching season-long sidelined first-round pick Joel Embiid do a little seated dancing during the blowout.

It's been a rough time for both Knicks and Sixers fans, but at least Philadelphia has Joel Embiid actually participating in game action to look forward next season. Hopefully.
