Adidas x The U.S. Army All-American Bowl Present: The Lightest Mid-Cut Cleat in Football

Kids can be easily motivated. Be it money, women or any other form of temptation, kids have a way of being influenced by what their rubbery brains perceive as being "cool." However, the one constant that's been cool since I was a youngin' and the youngsters of present day will always be influenced by are other kids that they look up to and respect.

Adidas took advantage of the opportunity on Thursday night to unveil the "Lightest Mid-Cut Cleat in Football" in the 2012 U.S. Army All-American Bowl at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida.. (Home of the Tampa Bay Rays.)

"Whether you're playing on Sundays or on Friday nights, speed is critical in today's game," said Mark Daniels, director of football for adidas. "Timing is everything in football and a split second cut or quick start off the line of scrimmage can be the difference between 4th and 1 and a touchdown. There are more than 100 alumni of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl are currently playing in the NFL, including Adidas athletes DeMarco Murray of the Dallas Cowboys, Reggie Bush of the Miami Dolphins, and Eric Berry of the Kansas City Chiefs.
