Tonight on the final edition of #theUCshow in 2011, we're honored and privileged to have two guests on the air to help Ken and Ed close the show.
First, we chopped it up with Bomani Jones of SB Nation about the release of the Nike Air Jordan XI's, aka "The Concords," and the impact they have economically (supply and demand, branding, etc.) as well as the perceptions of the "chaos" that ensues with purchasing these limited-edition shoes. Bo goes off.
Then, we bring on the "Sneaker Sensei," John Gotty of The Smoking Section, to talk more about sneaker culture. How much of an effect do sneakerheads, bloggers and "people of influence" really have on folks going out and buying kicks?
Plus, we have some awesome callers with their perspective. Thanks for supporting us as we try to do it bigger and better than ever in 2012. We still got work to do.
