The Chicago Bulls have done a miraculous job playing basketball without their superstar, Derrick Rose. Suffering from a groin injury that has caused internal bleeding (all the men reading this are now wincing in pain) and forced Rose to miss his 12th game on Thursday night. Even with the Bulls carrying an 8-4 record without their MVP, the fate of the Bulls postseason is reliant on the Chi-town native's ability to play in May.
If and when Rose hits the big stage during the postseason, the man will be wearing his signature adidas kicks with a fresh twist, the adizero Rose 2.5 "Playoff" Editions. The shoe features grey patent leather, tumbled nubuck and red accents to pay homage to the Bulls’ playoff tradition of wearing black shoes throughout the NBA Playoffs whether home or away. The midsole features black on grey splatter pattern to represent intense play of the postseason.
The adizero Rose 2.5 ‘Playoff’ edition is available April 4 at Foot Locker, Eastbay and adidas.com for MSRP $110. Stay tuned to the adidas Basketball Facebook page for exclusive images and content. Follow the conversation on Twitter at @adidasHoops with #lightdelivers.
