I was having a conversation with a fellow sneakerhead during a holiday party this past Friday and one of the talking points revolved around Nike's Air Force 1. I mentioned how I really wanted a pair of Sbeed AF1's (because Sheed is what that is) and when I said that the man almost sneered at me.
They're way too heavy.
Now, the man who said this was no more than 5'6" and 150 pounds while I'm about seven inches taller and a 100+ pounds heavier, so its something I've never really worried about with my kicks too much.
Nike might have a fix for my fellow sneakerhead's issues, as they're introducing us to the new extended family of the Air Force 1:

If you're in NYC, you can check out the new additions first hand at Nike's pop-up store Pivot Point, which will be open for a limited time at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Pivot Point is located at 620 Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11217 and will open to the public beginning Dec. 11 through Dec. 23 from 12 PM – 7 PM daily.
