When the Olympics come around every four years, the patriotic colorways of some of our favorite kicks are instantly in full bloom. The red, white and blue (plus some gold trimming) get the American treatment by the Jordan Brand with an iconic shoe from '92, and a new entity for 2012.
Dropping on Saturday, Jordan Brand will release the Air Jordan 7 “Olympic” for $160. A retro variety of the kicks worn by The Jordan as a member of the gold medal-winning '92 Dream Team in Barcelona. The White/Metallic Gold-Obsidian-True Red colorway is revered as a favorite by both sneakerheads and casual kicks fans alike.
Not to be outdone, the Jordan Super.Fly busts on the scene in a similar White/Gym Red-Obsidian-Metallic Gold colorway. (Check out this photo of me rocking the blue ones, I DUNK ON PEOPLE!) The Super.Fly's will be available on Wednesday, July 25 for $140. Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul and Maya Moore will have both shoes in rotation during the Olympic games.
