To see the kid roll through in the St. Pats socks
So pull out the Chicago and the script to wear on Soul Train
The Bulls, when Mike had hair and a gold chain
It's funny the things you'll see while getting Starbucks in Chicago.
Shoutout to the good brother and friend of ETSF, Mr. Jeremy K. Smith. As I was craving a Grande Soy Caramel Macchiato from Starbucks, the man had the werewithal to scout out a dope spot called Rad Vintage, on the Northside of Chicago.
The place claims to have the largest selection of Starter jackets (almost every team in stock) at their location, and the homie Jeremy tried to put on for his Cincinnati heritage by trying on Bengals cardigans and Starter jackets that didn't fit at all.
As for me? Well, I put on for "The U" with the 1960's Miami Hurricanes beanie. Copped it for a cool $20 and will be rocking it while the winter months set in.
The five coolest things I saw in the store:
1. The 1992 Dream Team Starter Jacket
2. The Hulk Hogan WWF Playing Cards
3. The Grambling State Tigers Gucci-esque Starter Hat
4. Seeing roughly 238 different versions of the Mike Ditka popularized Chicago Bears sweaters.
5. Finding a Vancouver Grizzlies inaugural draft jersey and thinking it was Bryant Reeves.
Check the pictures and make this a must-see stop when you're in the Chi. Go online to radvintage.com and tell 'em Ed sent you. You might get a discount.
