Starting Lineups: Pick The Winner of UEFA Euro 2012, Win Free Stuff

This Friday, the world's second greatest international soccer competition will begin taking place in Poland and Ukraine, as 16 teams in Europe will clash to determine who the kings of UEFA Euro 2012 will be.

I know that there are some of you that love football (futbol), there are some of you that like soccer, and there are some of you that could care less about the game. Totally understandable.

However, I'm sure when the World Cup took place in South Africa in 2010, you could feel everyone get swooped up in the excitement of the world's greatest singular sports competition. It's impossible to not appreciate the spectacle that it is. The European Championships are very dope too, as they help as a midpoint between World Cups and give us the soccer fix that we soccer fans need in the summer.

So this is what I've decided to do. I'm going to give away a bunch of free stuff. Big thanks to a great friend of TSFJ, Larry Luk of We Are The Process, as he has graced us once again with a ton of cool gear for the occasion. Tees, snapbacks, swag, etc. You'll want to walk away with the goods, I promise.

Here are the official rules, I'll keep them extremely simple.

  1. In the comments section, pick a winner.
  2. Give a follow on Twitter to: @WeAreTheProcess and @theSFjournal
  3. Tell your friends (its not mandatory, but it'd be nice.

That's it. If more than one person gets the answer right, then I'll let Kenny pick names out of a hat. I'll tell you now, I'm picking the Netherlands. Clockwork Oranje has been my squad since the days of Edgar Davids, Dennis Bergkamp and Patrick Kluivert. RvP, Robben, Sneijder, De Jong and Co. look poised to make a run, but of course they'll probably tear my heart out like they did versus Spain in the World Cup and I'll be sad all over again. *kicks paper cup*

Get to leaving those comments and guesses, comments  section closes on Monday. Here's your pertinent reading for Friday. Enjoy the weekend.
