Starting Lineups: Will Kobe Bryant Score 38 For the NBA Scoring Title?

Oklahoma City Thunder superstar forward Kevin Durant put up 32 points in a 106-101 loss to the Denver Nuggets in their regular season finale. With the performance, KD finished with a 28.03 scoring average this season, and has him 0.1 points/game ahead of Kobe Bryant 27.9 points/game average for a third consecutive NBA scoring title.

What's stopping Kobe from preventing Durant from that third scoring title? Oh, about 38 points.

Given what we know about Kobe, regardless of what he has said in the press recently about not pushing for it, will Kobe score the necessary 38 points versus a hapless Sacramento Kings squad to capture his third scoring as well? I asked two of my trusted hoop aficionados in Bryan and Tins, and they both literally said the same thing.

"Is that even a question? Of course he is." -- Bryan Crawford and Justin Tinsley

Hey Sacramento....try to man up and not let Kobe go off on you guys for 38 points. Cool? Cool.
