Wednesday will be a day for multi-tasking.
Whether you're grabbing lunch, knee-deep in spreadsheets and powerpoints, school work or watching the World Cup by any means necessary...sneakerheads from all across the globe will come together in the name of Kevin Durant and his latest signature sneaker release, the Nike KD7.
Nike Basketball will proudly unveil Kevin Durant’s new signature shoe, the KD7, in a live online broadcast event next Wednesday, June 25, at 12 noon ET. Broadcast legend Ahmad Rashad will host Durant and Nike designer Leo Chang for the live debut, which will include a few surprises.
The KD7 is designed to the specifications of the reigning Most Valuable Player and one of basketball’s most dynamic stars. The KD7 combines leading performance innovation with a few hidden cues, and a vivid narrative across multiple colorways that will all be unveiled during next week’s event.
For what it's worth, we already know that Nike will be dropping the "USA" KD7's on Saturday, June 28th at a $150 price point. It just so happens that my birthday is next month and I wear a size 13, and if you wanted to cop a pair of these for me as I turn 31 years old, then I would consider you an awesome person.
The livestream starts at Noon ET and 9am PT, so kick up your sneaks and relax your feat while we enjoy the pageantry that only Nike can provide for a sneaker release. Let us know your thoughts on KD's new signature shoe in the comments section.
