The Big Dance: Northwestern’s Jerry Brown Gets Down

While the opening weekend-plus of the college football season was mostly a downer for the Big Ten, things kicked off well for the conference last Saturday thanks to the Northwestern Wildcats.

In a shocker, Northwestern upset the Standford Cardinal in the early kickoff, 16-6, completely dominating every facet of the game against a ranked opponent. Just about no one saw that coming, making it all the more reason to celebrate.

And celebrate Northwestern did, particularly assistant head coach Jerry Brown, who got down in the locker room with his players following the victory.

The Wildcats have an excellent shot at starting the season 2-0 this weekend, as they host the 0-1 Eastern Illinois Panthers in Evanston tomorrow. And if they do win, I sure hope Jerry Brown showcases some more of his dance moves.
