Last night, HE did IT again.
He, would be Derrick Rose. The reigning 2011 NBA MVP.
It, would be hit another game-winning shot. This time over the Milwaukee Bucks in a thrilling 104-102 victory for the Chicago Bulls.
In a season where schedules are crammed, games are on almost every day and highlights go by like a whirlwind, it can be easy to overlook what's going on with Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls. They're winning at an even higher clip this season (.805 win percentage) versus last season (.756 win percentage) and Rose is serving body blows like he did Wednesday night versus the Bucks.
This black and blue "School of Hard Knocks" colorway is inspired by Derrick’s upbringing as the man grew up at Murray Park in the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago. That's where Rose first started playing the game on the park along with his physical play. The shoe features tumbled, full grain leather and luxury nubuck upper for a smooth off-court look to rep the style of his Chi-town. (I think Rose's alma mater, Memphis, should all be rocking these in the tournament. Well...if they make the tournament. Oh, sign up for our free March Madness bracket challenge today.)
The adizero Rose 2.5 “Black and Blue” is available now at Foot Locker, Eastbay and Shopadidas.com for MSRP $110. The shoe will roll out in two additional colorways through April so stay tuned to the adidas Basketball Facebook page for exclusive images and content.Array
