How to Play Fantasy PGA at DraftKings - The Basics
Picking Your Line-Up
All three of the tournaments that we’ve detailed above are salary cap contests. To enter you need to pick a line-up from the pool of players, each of whom have a salary. For your selected line-up to be valid, the sum total of the salaries must not exceed $50,000.
Scoring Points
Once your line-up has been selected, the contest begins on a points driven basis. You get points for the performances of the golfers in your line up. At the end of the contest, you’ll be ranked based on the amount of points you have - and if you have placed high enough, you’ll win a cash prize!
How exactly do you score points? You can see a simple breakdown below:
Per Hole Scoring
Double Eagle or Better - +13 points
Eagle - +8 points
Birdie - + 3 points
Tournament Finish Scoring
1st - +30 points
2nd - +20 points
3rd - +18 points
Negative Scores
Above we have only listed the top three points scoring sections for each category. We should warn you that you will get negative points if one of your selected golfers messes up! For example, bogeys and double bogeys will result in negative points being awarded, thus reducing your overall score.
