NFL Top 100 of 2021 | The List So Far

NFL players have been casting their votes to find who is the best in the league, heading into the 2021 season. With just less than a month to go until the NFL kicks off once again, here’s who makes the first half of the top 100.

 100-91:

  1. James Robinson, RB – Jacksonville Jaguars
  2. Brandon Graham, DE – Philadelphia Eagles
  3. Brandon Scherff, OL – Washington Football Team
  4. Kyle Juszczyk, FB – San Francisco 49ers
  5. Cole Beasley, WR – Buffalo Bills
  6. Tre’Davious White, CB – Buffalo Bills
  7. Jarvis Landry, WR – Cleveland Browns
  8. TJ Hockenson, TE – Detroit Lions
  9. Jason Kelce, OL – Philadelphia Eagles
  10. Corey Davis, WR – New York Jets

The top 100 starts with arguably the Jaguars’ best player of last year, rookie James Robinson, who impressed in his first season. The only full back on the list is also here, with the 49ers FB Kyle Juszczyk at no.97.

90-81:

  1. Jessie Bates, FS – Cincinnati Bengals
  2. Tristan Wirfs, OL – Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  3. Shaquil Barrett, LB – Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  4. Allen Robinson, WR – Chicago Bears
  5. Marshon Lattimore, CB – New Orleans Saints
  6. Zack Martin, OL – Dallas Cowboys
  7. Leonard Williams, DE – New York Giants
  8. Ryan Tannehill, QB – Tennessee Titans
  9. Garett Bolles, OL – Denver Broncos
  10. Chris Godwin, WR – Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Here, we have a trio of Super Bowl winners, with Wirfs, Barrett & Godwin all making the top 100. The first QB in the list also appears at no. 83 with Ryan Tannehill. There’s also plenty of NFC names included here, with star corner Marshon Lattimore & the Giants’ Leonard Williams.

80-71:

  1. Adam Thielen, WR – Minnesota Vikings
  2. Terron Armstead, OL – New Orleans Saints
  3. Jeffery Simmons, DT – Tennessee Titans
  4. Quandre Diggs, SS – Seattle Seahawks
  5. Tyler Lockett, WR – Seattle Seahawks
  6. Laremy Tunsil, OL – Houston Texans
  7. James Bradberry, CB – New York Giants
  8. Trey Hendrickson, DE – Cincinnati Bengals
  9. Michael Thomas, WR – New Orleans Saints
  10. Baker Mayfield, QB – Cleveland Browns

Despite only seeing the 80-71 list, there are plenty of NFL stars here. One in particular is one of the league’s best wide receivers, Michael Thomas, who unfortunately missed a large portion of last season due to injury. Browns QB Baker Mayfield is placed at no.71, leading Cleveland to the playoffs for the first time in 18 years.

 

70-61:

  1. Eric Kendricks, LB – Minnesota Vikings
  2. Ryan Kelly, OL – Indianapolis Colts
  3. Josh Jacobs, RB – Las Vegas Raiders
  4. KJ Wright, LB – Seattle Seahawks
  5. JJ Watt, DE – Arizona Cardinals
  6. Calvin Ridley, WR – Atlanta Falcons
  7. Demario Davis, LB – New Orleans Saints
  8. Fletcher Cox, DT – Philadelphia Eagles
  9. AJ Brown, WR – Tennessee Titans
  10. Chase Young, DE – Washington Football Team

The first running back in the list is at no.68, with the Raiders’ Josh Jacobs having an impressive season. There’s a number of defensive talents here, including 2020 defensive rookie of the year Chase Young, as well as Fletcher Cox, and one of the best of his generation, JJ Watt. Will Watt succeed in Arizona? Watch this space.

60-51:

  1. Corey Linsley, OL – Los Angeles Chargers
  2. Jason Pierre-Paul, DE – Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  3. Tyrann Mathieu, FS – Kansas City Chiefs
  4. Cameron Heyward, DT – Pittsburgh Steelers
  5. Justin Herbert, QB – Los Angeles Chargers
  6. Keenan Allen, WR – Los Angeles Chargers
  7. Grady Jarrett, DT – Atlanta Falcons
  8. Justin Jefferson, WR – Minnesota Vikings
  9. Minkah Fitzpatrick, FS – Pittsburgh Steelers
  10. Za’Darius Smith, LB – Green Bay Packers

A trio of LA Chargers athletes here, all of whom had a surprisingly impressive season in the AFC West. Justin Herbert is joined by fellow rookie Justin Jefferson, who was a major influence in the Vikings offense in his first year in the NFL.

50-41:

  1. George Kittle, TE – San Francisco 49ers
  2. JC Jackson, DB – New England Patriots
  3. Mike Evans, WR – Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  4. Stephon Gilmore, CB – New England Patriots
  5. Cameron Jordan, DE – New Orleans Saints
  6. Justin Simmons, FS – Denver Broncos
  7. Christian McCaffrey, RB – Carolina Panthers
  8. Lavonte David, LB – Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  9. Trent Williams, OL – San Francisco 40ers
  10. Jaire Alexander, CB – Green Bay Packers

Plenty of football veterans here, including Super Bowl winner Mike Evans. Stephon Gilmore, Cameron Jordan & Justin Simmons all put in brilliant performances across the season on defense. Both Christian McCaffrey and George Kittle could have been higher in this list, but both missed out on the majority of the season due to injuries.
