Baron Davis really is that dude.
The current (former?) New York Knicks point guard is standing up for New York City's Department of Transportation and encouraging the locals to be "Heads Up" when traversing Gotham City. Yes, if anyone can prevent folks from walking like zombies with their headphones on, driving into a crosswalk full of pedestrians and generally obeying the rules of the road, it would be the bearded based God Baron Walter Louis Davis.
Oh, and how in the hell is Boom Dizzle even walking right now?
This video is part of DOT's "Heads Up" street safety campaign, which spotlights unsafe behavior and reminds pedestrians, bike riders and motorists to stay alert, obey the rules of the road and keep themselves and others safe. Learn more about "Heads Up" at https://on.nyc.gov/HeadsUpNYC.
Here's your pertinent reading material for Wednesday, and don't be a zombie today when crossing the street. Heads up.
