Motivation Music: Big K.R.I.T. – “Boobie Miles”

"Get money, don't be no lame
Bench warmers never ride foreign, so play the game
Never drop the ball, never accept a loss, get back up if you fall
And when your number's called, you better give your all
I hope you give your all
You gotta play until the end
The only difference between a winner and a loser is a winner plays until he win." -- Big K.R.I.T.

It's a song that I'm going to make a certain family member in particular listen to on repeat this summer. (I know you're reading this, so take note.) Why? Because the young man has no idea how truly talented he is, and as much as I'd like the think great athletes run in the family, some of my kinfolk got a bigger helping of the super powers than I did.

Big K.R.I.T. spits melody in a way that serves as a calming influence for anyone who listens. Of course, "Boobie Miles" is already worshipped around these parts, but one thing's for certain...you've got to believe you can win before you even start.

Everyone needs motivation, and anyone could use someone to pick them up when they're down. Most importantly, you've got to believe in yourself. My younger kinfolk will learn, because he's got it in him, but this song will probably end up on some motivational mixtape that I'll send him in a few weeks.
