This Boy Dancing On First Base Is The Greatest Little Kid In Sports History (This Week)

There's nothing quite like that feeling when you finally achieve that ultimate goal that you've been striving for over a long period of time. It's such an euphoric experience that at times it can be indescribable. It could be anything like the following...

  • Finally passing that driver's ed test after failing at parallel parking the fifth attempt
  • Finally getting that girl's/guy's number after flirting for the 50th attempt
  • Finally earning the big piece of chicken after being the youngest at the table for the 500th attempt
  • Finally signing up for Tidal illegally downloading that new Kanye West album after evading viruses and pop-up windows for the 5,000th attempt

...and so on and so forth.

So, when I read the caption of this Twitter video that said, "When you finally get on base...", I already knew something incredible was going to happen.

I was not disappointed.

I have not seen anyone jig and boogie in that type of way since I randomly fell into a Youtube wormhole which ended with me watching The Rej3ctz and Chris Brown bring us the world famous song, "Cat Daddy." (Yes, I know this is quite embarrassing.)

All hail this little kid getting to first base. Did he go full-on Cam Newton in the process? Absolutely. Should he watch his back as folks like Goose Gossage prepare to vilify him and call him a "young punk"? Absolutely. Was it worth it? Abso-friggin-lutely.

All hail the boy who finally got to first base, the greatest little kid in sports history (this week).
