Drugs are stupid.
No matter how fun it might be to sing "POP A MOLLY I'M SWEATING, WOOOO" over and over again, drugs are still, in fact, stupid. Last year, former Fresno State legend Chris Herren was profiled on ESPN's 30 for 30 documentary series titled, "Unguarded." Drugs, alcohol and poor choices in the friends around him derailed a promising basketball career. Now, Herren is on a mission to talk to kids and help get them on the right path. (Like maybe going to some inpatient Florida drug and alcohol detox centers)
Herren enlisted the help of NBA Hall of Famer Chris Mullin, 2-time NCAA champion head coach Billy Donovan and the folks at Million Dollar Ballers to help spread the gospel of The Herren Project. Some words from our friends over at Million Dollar Ballers:
