Erik Spoelstra made strategic adjustments on defense to help Miami limit Nuggets guard Jamal Murray to just 18 points in Game 2. Games 3 and 4 saw answers by the Miami Heat. The Heat came all the way from the eight-seed play-in game to reach these finals though and Jimmy Butler is at his best in the biggest of games.
The Nuggets have the best player in the game in Jokic and Murray has become a break out star in this series. I cannot see the Heat winning three straight, but they won’t go quietly.
Recent form analysis - Can the Nuggets clinch?
Miami won game 2 in Denver, but since then the Nuggets have made adjustments that the Heat have found no answers for. The Nuggets' role players have all done their jobs and it’s hard to believe that they won’t do it again this close to Denver’s first NBA Championship, as the current NBA betting odds will show. The crowd will be crazed and Jokic smells blood in the water.
Will the Heat extend the series?
Jimmy Butler played well on Friday night but the issue has been his supporting cast which has not been up to the moment. The Heat showed in game two that they are capable of winning in Denver. As we have previously covered in out sports betting predictions here at TheSportsFanJournal, Heat is a turnaround team. Can they do it again? If they are to win game five they will have to play their best game of the season and just like game two, they will need to figure out a way to stop Murray. Jokic will get his but the Heat need to contain the rest of an explosive Denver roster.
